East African Disability was established in 2019 to advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and provide meaningful support to individuals and their families.
We believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. Individuals with disabilities should have equal access to education, employment, community resources, and opportunities that allow them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Our Mission
The East African Disability promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.
